Every presentation is pre-selected by the audience for it’s hard-hitting passion, entertainment, and meaning. The goal? to ignite the audience! (no not set fire to you literal SOB…).

Why do I care?
After Ignite Boulder 4 I wrote a pretty harsh blog post about it, which sparked a serious discussion amongst some of the previous speakers and more outspoken audience members. Andrew, being the genius he is, put everyone in on the discussion in charge of the next one (Ignite Boulder 5).
For the last month I’ve been thinking of topics that I’m passionate about, or that really have a message I want to convey. Every time I thought of one I’d put it in my phone. I just checked, the list has 37 ideas.
The one I chose for Ignite Boulder 5, believe it or not, is one of the lighter topics. After my veritable rant about content and messages, I went the way of passion, and chose something I’ve been interested in for years, that will be entertaining to learn about, and fun to present. The truth is, when I look at the list of topics it doesn’t matter who presents. We already have 1000% improvement! And my prediction is Ignite Boulder 5 is going to blow the mind of everyone who walks through the door!
